Every year I think about creating some Christmas patterns but never got inspired enough. This year was different, inspiration hit me hard. I have not just one but four Xmas stocking patterns coming over the next couple of weeks! Do you love colourful patterned Christmas Stockings but are intimidated by stranded colourwork? Mosaic knitting is the solution! It is a fun and easy way of knitting with two colours to create a colourwork pattern which looks much more complicated than it is. The beauty of mosaic knitting is that it only uses one of the yarns at a time, while the other waits at the beginning of the round.
The first pattern of the Holly Jolly Xmas eBook, Christmas Stocking Yks (photo below) will be released tomorrow, November 15th, on Ravelry and Payhip/ArellaSeatonDesign. The second pattern will be released on November 22nd. Finish the first stocking by November 21st, link the project to the pattern on Ravelry and get the second pattern for free! Igal aastal enne jõule mõtlen, et peaks mõne jõuluse kudumismustri tegema, aga pole õiget inspiratsiooni leidnud. Sel aastal tuli idee ja tegin selle kuhjaga teoks. Mitte üks, vaid koguni neli jõulusokki sai valmis!
