It's been quite a journey designing the set. First I designed the Bouquet Beanie pattern for a Mystery KnitAlong, MKAL, held in Estonian handicraft forum Isetegija about three years ago. Last year I decided to update the pattern by adding line by line written out pattern for knitters who do not like charts. The pattern got test knitted and tech edited. During the MKAL one lady made a cowl to go with her hat. I loved the idea of a set. The hat is worked from the crown down. Some increases and decreases in ribbing make a lovely, slightly scalloped edge. The same ribbing is used for both edges of the cowl. A smaller, modified version of the lace pattern is used for the mittens. Did you notice the lovely detail on the thumb? Look out the Ravelry pattern page for wonderful mitts made by test knitters.

How I take sock-selfies. Kuidas ma soki-fotosid teen.
It is quite tricky to take photos of socks by yourself. You have to twist and turn and wriggle, put the feet up to the wall. Complicated, eh? Finally, I have found a way to take a sock selfies, which is most convenient for me.
- Find a space with good natural light
- Find or set up a background
- Set the camera on a tripod or a pile of books, about 10 - 15 cm high
- Set the camera in front of you as far as you can reach, bending forward
- Position your feet, lean forward, keep balance and press the button
All photos here are taken by me. Socks are designed and knitted by me too :D
Küllalt keeruline on pildistada sokke ise enda jalas. Keera ja pööra, kuidas tahad, pane jalad seinale, ikka pole see tulemus, mida tahaks. Lõpuks olen leidnud endale sobiva mooduse soki-selfide tegemiseks.
- Leia hea loomuliku valgusega koht

Blue Surf Shawl.
My shawl pattern was published in webzine I Like Knitting April 2018 issue!
I used merino yarn for the design. It is soft and does not keep it's shape well. The edge on the webzine photo is not as crisp as it was after blocking.
Still it's great to see my work published!
My project in Ravelry.
Mu sallimuster ilmus veebi-ajakirjas I Like Knitting April 2018. Kasutasin meriino lõnga ja see on teadupärast pehme, ei hoia hästi vormi peale venitamist. Äärepitsi ilu on veidi kannatada saanud pikal teel Ameerikamaale pildistamisele.
Rõõm avaldatud tööst on ikka!
