Remember these Ripe 'n Ready Socks? It's one of my early patterns. I love the pattern and I was happy when it was picked for HiyaHiya Free & Fun KAL coming up in April/May. Two coloured mosaic cables look amazing and they are relatively easy to knit. The mosaic cable pattern knits up using just one of the yarns at a time, much easier than stranded colourwork. Providing the pattern for the KAL was a great opportunity for me to update the pattern. I made new charts, added one more size, so it comes in three sizes now. The pattern was newly tech edited and test knitted. If you want the pattern for free, hop over to the HiyaHiya KAL thread (linked above). Otherwise, it's available on Ravelry. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to update the German version yet. I have to upload a new pdf to LoveKnitting too, in my ever-growing todo list.

Kogu aeg on töös ainult üks lõng, mitte kaks/kolm, nagu kirjatud kudumites. Nüüd osutus sokimuster see valituks HiyaHiya Free & Fun KAL kooskudumiseks Ravelrys. Selle tarvis otsustasin mustrit uuendada, tegin uued skeemid, lisasin kolmanda suuruse, ja muster sai ka tehnilise toimetaja poolt üle vaadatud. Kõik ikka ainult inglise keeles kahjuks. The third news is for my Estonian readers, at this point of time anyway. I wrote a brand new sock pattern for the MKAL held in an Estonian craft forum Mustrimaailm. The pattern will be released in English too, hopefully in April. Stay tuned! I will share some sneak peeks as MKAL progresses.
